Thrifting 101

One of my biggest passions that I would like to share with you is thrifting...I am totally addicted. It started at the early age of 10 yrs old. It's part of who I am. Anyhow, thru thrifting I have learned you can repurpose and bring new love to things that wind up at the" transfer station"...check out my pictures of my version of a wall unit made entirely from old wooden crates, a metal pull cart...mostly 85% of the items you see in the photos are things my hubby and I found at the transfer station...including the telescope and the gorgeous huge gold mirror (yeah someone thru that out, go figure).

Sticking to my list

I have made a decision to stick with posting daily on my blog...not really sure how that's going to work out since I am so busy most of the day but I think if I really try - I can make it work. Today I will be posting some really awesome ponchos that I made...one is entirely made of denim with tons of fringe and fraying. The other is made of recycled sweater and denim...they are both really cool! I hope to have some pictures posted later today...

Back to my list...I make list all of the time, most of the time I stick with them and follow them. I like being organized but since I moved here to the country a few years back, I sort of became super laid back and let things just happen when they happen...totally not me but it became me. I am now trying to really focus and fine the old me or just part of that so I can be more organized and a bit more responsible.
