A bitof shimmer...

Today I actually was  able to sleep in...woohoo! thanks to my husband (Harry). I took down our enormous Christmas tree...cleaned up the house a bit, then got ready for Devin's basketball game against Downsville...here is a peek of my favorite booties I wore today, thought it would be fun to pair them up with my shimmery red ankle socks...Good news...we WON!!! yay :)

Happy New Year!

Wel, I think I am the worst "blogger" ever in history. I know I have been mia for quite some time but I sort of been busy and lazy...hence the long gap of not posting.  Anyhow, for the new year I am going to really try to  be more diligent at posting.  I just find it difficult sometimes with kids, life, etc...so much to do and so little time.  As for me I have been busy with sewing projects, working out , kids sports/activities and learning more about blogging.  I am very excited to be attending the Free People Blogger Retreat in Philly this Friday!!! YAY :D I will surely update on that upon my return...so here's to a new year, hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with friends and family! Here are just a few pics of my holiday...

what we wore...

Devin & I did an outfit post today...we decided we would wear a favorite outfit for this post.  I am in love with everything I wore, most of the pieces I've had them for a long time.  Devin wore one of her favorite dresses and added a little funk by wearing her recently studded denim keds.

Sunday Threads...

Today I wore my favorite vintage denim jumper dress.  I added a fun sharks tooth necklace and finished it off with vintage red keds which I added metal pointy studs.  I purchased the keds at a thrift store for $3 and a bag of studs for $5 - it took me twenty minutes to finish my sneakers off. They turned out so cool!
